ODC WEEKEND FEATURE: DIY Party Make Up (WATCH)

Hey, the fun about the Nigerian lifestyle is that there's always a party somewhere around every weekend, that makes owambe work a joy because it's always the owambe season. For this weekend feature we have tutorial video on party make up. Something ladies would find really useful. The thing I like the most is the teacher's method. Her name's Adepeju.  Learn and Enjoy

How Much Of Modern Owambe Attires Do You know?

Hi, this post aims at finding out  how well you can spot and know modern owambe attires by name. Below are questions about them. Or maybe you don't know about these attires and you are interested in finding out, you could ask questions but not the ones I've asked.

Q1. What's the name of the type of attire (The blouse) the bride is wearing in the first picture?
Q2. What type of the lace is the mother of the bride wearing?
Q3. What other kinds of attires can you identify in these pictures?

There might be a goody bag somewhere, so you might be doing the right thing by answering ;)

Weekend Video: BEST OF NIGERIAN FASHION "natives"

I'm down with anything promoting the fashion in the 'Owambe Party Scene'. Below is a video of a collection of photos (from party sights) themed around Wedding ceremonies, it portrays rich Nigerian culture, so if you are Nigerian you had better be proud.

That reminds me, today being Saturday is an official 'owambe' day, show off your style at that 'owambe' you attended previously or the one you'd be attending today. Send your pictures to owambedresscode@gmail.com. Even if it means you'd be taking those pictures all because I asked, take bribe *kiss kiss*. Thanks in advance for sending the pictures. Cash ya lerra! ;-)
